The missus and I have decided to emmigrate to Canada with our newborn son...originally wanted to go Ontario (for reasons not worth mentioning here) but it is not working out that way and BC and Alberta are the only other likely options..BC looks stunning but i'm told Alberta is a lot cheaper..we're torn..what ya reckon anyone?

ceresone, I will watch Terrostorm just to sharpen up my own thoughts however being Canadian why would you advise others not to come here? If you think BC or other parts of Canada are that unfriendly why stay? Quite frankly I think we have it pretty good here and I have travelled and lived in other provinces and I am quite happy and relaxed where I am now.

Terrorism is everywhere??!! Are you joking?! Terrorism kills less than 0.1% of people. That's not to mention that the WHITE HOUSE is the number 1 TERRORIST BASE. The bad guys are the ones putting these NAZI STYLE security measures in place. Watch TERRORSTORM on Google Video to get a dose of REALITY.

ceresone, HA for a guy that has 5 or so videos of Vancouver in your profile don't you think you are calling the kettle black? This was a one time incident that is being investigated and about the rest you have your facts much embellished. Body scanning at the airport is terrific, DNA well it catches the bad guys and lets the good guys out of prision who where put there long ago before science of DNA was studied and perfected. You must be young as terrorism is everywhere and security is a MUST.

Don't come to BC cuz you'll get tazed by the friendly RCMP. You will have to submit to 3D xray body scanning at the airport and possibly blood tests and DNA extraction on the side of the road by the cops.
NOT A FRIENDLY PLACE AT ALL!!!!!!

Canadians from visible minorities have higher levels of education on average than those who aren't from a visible minority, several of Jedwab's previous studies have shown that their higher education levels don't always translate into better employment or better income levels. In many cases, Canadians from visible minorities with university degrees earn a fraction of what their white counterparts earn and have lower employment levels.
