It is very hard to hear on stage! alot of people don't know that but I have seen tool 8 times and they have always been great live compared to who-ever but overall the video is alright and I would like to see more... FUCK IDIOT'S......

to call the videos absolutely a product of either direction would be unfair. maybe theyve got some deep meaning that no one would be able to figure out... maybe theyre just the band messing around

i think it's also because they didnt want to be a band that played music, they wanted to be a fully immersive experience without having the band members serve as a distraction. if you can connect with people onstage, then the music loses its immersiveness, not because the people making the music arent good, but because the music is its own being, and all attention should be on it.
