Lazy Field Technician

Nearly two months in the making(in my spare time), I finally got this done...I hope it's not too lame. I don't know if this is "nerdcore" or not. Kind of old skool, I think. My daughters are the "IP address singers" It's called "Lazy Field Technician" as kind of a tribute to "Lazy Sunday" from SNL, and "Lazy Scranton" from The Offfice (US) "Hold me closer, Tony Danza" Wallpaper available on request. Lazy Field Technician I got a service call - a pri-ority 2 of course that means there's somethin' I gotta do only one in my market -- yeeh I'm all alone I got my VPN, so I can log in from home Checking all my servers, findin' one of em down I can't ping it, I can't ping it] so I'm startin to frown uh-oh, it's where they keep the finances right no worries, I got a full backup last night so I get in my car and drive out to the site I got there so fast, I'm like the speed of light The server's up and running so what can it be the T1 jack is out, no lit up LED"s my router's got alarms, it's lit up like the sun So I'm callin the vendor who provides the T1 it's ringing and it's ringin and they finally answer put me on hold, it's playin "Tiny Dancer" (sample of "Hold me closer Tiny Dancer") they get back on the horn, tell me it's a cut line they can get it fixed but it's gonna takes some time so I can tell my homies are really getting ill there's nothin' I can do, so I tell 'em to chill drive back to my office to log my case notes I unlock my door and I throw off my coat open up the ticket and started to type gonna have some caffiene cause I'll be here all night get back to mah office when mah coffee's made mah blackberry's vibratin' like a marital aid telco vendor on the horn saying "give it a try" I type in CMD on my windows run line IP address, I type P.I.N.G., IP address, type P.I.N.G. Well I get a good return, and the latency's low I give my homies a call and say "it's good to go" They say they getting started good with their application I think it's time for me to start my vacation IP address, I type P.I.N.G., IP address, type P.I.N.G. etc.
