the supercell had some nice bolts in it... since the clouds of a supercell are the closest to the ground and all the electrons in the cloud are pinpointed in the bottom of the huge mass it causes alot of lighting to spawn outta it. it would be cool if that supercell spawned a tornado! i wanna see the whole couple hours of that supercell! they last a long time!

Not all supercells spawn tornadoes, though..

I was standing about 10 ft away taping this storm myself. There may had been a tornado later on with this storm, but we missed them because of darkness and lack of roads. We were already behind this storm, and with bad chase country in front us, we broke this chase off shortly after this. Got some nice lightning shots though. |
