there's was a brief disco thing in the late seventees and some other crap ... but there was a cavalcade of great acoustic stuff and some of the best rock ever written... and i mean a lot of it too ... today we have nothing

I know what you mean about Neil Young, there is that timelessness that people like he give in there music. Nowadays it is so cheap and gimmicky and lacking in actual talent, just with crap like the 'I kissed a girl' song and chris brown, plus all the emo bands out there...while there are still some great bands out there their is still a lot of rubbish too, oh how I would love to see this music in its heyday!

his always blows me away, like when he talks he seems so quiet, and then you hear this song and how he sings, its beautiful. not like music now-a-days, nowadays its crap and its based on looks and who ya know. really sad.
