I saw them live a few years ago... After about 2 and 1/2 hours all I could hear was just noise... Got my hearing working after 5 days or something.

Yeah i know man, Just the Name Purple Ohms sent that shiver you get with the rising vibes of an acid frenzy startin(yeah i know thats Hunter S Thompsons words but who cares).
