Update: the compilation is "Just Say Yesterday: Volume VI". It is a great compilation. Also has Patti Smith's "Piss Factory" and half a dozen or more hard to find great singles.

Thanks for posting this. It's a very hard song to find; I have it on a compiliation CD I bought in the 90's (I think it was the "Just Say Yes" series) but that's the only place I've found it. To me, it was an 80's song that deserved a lot more play.
