I read this was about Jerry's father's experiences in Viet Nam and underground nuclear testing in the desert. Notice the "Lane Closed" sign? Wonder if that was planned or just coincidence?

Rest in peace Layne

Don't we all?!

It really dosen't, the song is about Jerry's girlfriend. The beauty of their work is that Layne emphasizes different parts of the song then Jerry might have originally intended, giving it more then one meaning.

I wish MTV was dead. I don't want to argue with you, but that's just how I feel. Music should be something you discover on your own, so that it actually means something specific for you. People shouldn't feed it through TV like it's shit to a pig's mouth, but this is only my opinion.

Is it me or is this the theme song to Layne's life long struggle? I love it and yet it makes me sad to know that he put all personal anguish into his music. But we all know that he is not being denied of flying now...

Phenomenal song, but I don't understand how this music video has anything to do with the song.

I wish MTV would start showing early 90's grunge again and quit promoting talentless emo bands and pop singers.
