Victor Borge was such a great comedian and musician. I wish he was still around!

Oh I can't wait to get the Muppet Show DVD with this episode on it! This was so funny. I love how he smiled here in this video watching that clip.

Victor Borge suffered from tremendous stage fright. The reason why he never succeeded as a consertpianist. At the conservatorie in Copenhagen he´d crack a joke everytime he performed. He would stop in the middle of Rachmaninovs third, make a joke or read a poem. Hillarious. Uforlignelige og usammenlignelige Victor Borge. Du er savnet.

What a lack of a sense of humour.

This is great! I think that's the way everyone reacts to Moonlight Sonata, though...

Behave, Spartan.
Victor Borge was a musical genius who didn't take himself seriously. The Muppets gave him the opportunity to show his immeasurable talents to a wider audience. In the same way theat Nuryev and countless others did.
