Can she be any more cute!!?? LOVE the staircase tap dance she did with Bill Bojangles! WAAAY politically incorrect but it's still great because she is so innocent and obviously doesn't have a problem with it like her bigoted managers/handlers. One sad thing though is they edited out the staircase clip in the South because Bojangles was holding her hand. Sick and demented, huh? This little girl helped a Nation feel good about itself, when it needed it the most. Shirley rocks! :)

She's on a plane. No sailors. The dress was typical of styles of the day. Underneath was a pair of bloomers - not the kind of bikini underwear kids wear today.
