Yep, it's harder. The little slowdown of recording, panic that appears when trying to navigate through bullet waves, and that fear of failure.
Yep, it's harder than you think.

As I have played bo.. ( Actually, Ikaruga and DDP, not DOJ ), all I can say that Dodonpachi is harder. And Dodonpachi Daioujou is harden than original dodonpachi. Or am I wrong?

Stage 6, too. It's also pretty cool how you can see the wreckage of the 1st boss in the chasm (keeping in mind this is also the location of DDP's first level.)

Heh, I love the way they brought back DDP's Stage 4 and 5 bosses as midbosses.

If i ever gained the skills to get to that boss I'd be too busy rocking out to the music to beat it.

If you think this is "not THAT" difficult, you are incorrect. The hitbox is small, yes, but I encourage you to try playing this game. It's a lot different when you're doing it.

At its peak, definitely, Mushihime has its moments and is tons harder than the DDP series, but also consider how the game, 1, came out later amongst a more experienced/skilled crowd and 2, has like forty different modes/difficulties.
That said, wait for the new DDP before trying to conjecture which game "owns" which by any span.
