The Discovery Channel's Animal Planet did a show on Jessica, it was excellent, for anyone who has not yet seen it. Hopefully the cool Hippo will find a mate and produce a baby and live a long and happy life thanks to her adopted family.

I desperately want a hippo. I love that she sleeps with the dogs on the porch at night. Her little blanket is so cute.
