yea def 1993 is when the golden age of rap started. then all these mtv bubblegum bullshit fags started giving hip hop a materialistic look and thats when everything went downward. i think nas's album "hip-hop is dead" was a wake up call to us. he made us all realize where hip hop is going. i just got my friend into old school rap and im happy to say i saved him from the clutches of soulja boy and lil jon douche bags
