No one holds a match to your skin No dupe No chiming a way off miles off No needle through a glove Famine is a tall tall tower a building left in the night Jesse are you listening? It casts its ruins in shadows under Memphis moonlig t Jesse are you listening? Six feet of foetus flung at sparrows in the sky Put yourself in my shoes A kiss - - wet - - muzzle A clouded eye No stars to flush it out Famine is a tall tall tower A building left in the night Jesse are you listening? It casts its ruins in shadows under Memphis moonlig t Jesse are you listening? Pow! Pow! In the dream I am crawling around on my hands and knees smoothing out the prairie All the dents and the gouges and the winds dying down I lower my head press my ear to the prairie Alive I'm the only one left alive I'm the only one left alive I'm the only one left alive Alive I'm the only one left alive I'm the only one left alive I'm the only one left alive

Americans need more unreassuring music like this.

I read in an interview that those two guitar chords throughout the song are the same opening chords as "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis Presley, just downtuned 8 steps or so and played on a baritone guitar. It makes sense, seeing as the song is apparently supposed to be a conversation about 9/11 between Elvis and his brother Jesse. That said, musics never made me truly frightened until this song.

Holy crap that was horrible. I actually burst out in laughter several times. JESSE ARE YEW LISSNUN

to me this just seems really melodramatic... however i do admire his voice and composition

If you could please include that part of this album that includes the Immunity lyrics that they keep giving on that film 30th Century Man.

scratch that could be more like a Benjamin Britten mixed in with some Penderecki somewhat.

Sounds like a take on neo-romantic abstract expressionism -something in the vain of let's say Canticum Canticorum Salomonis but for solo voice or anything else that could have been written by Pendericki. Would have been nicer if some effects were done with the violins in the background.

definitely psycho. love it.

While I love his voice, I'm not sure I love what he does with it. I certainly respect it, though, and it's nice to hear something different.
