A stretch? It was freaking perfect! An average gorilla is about the same weight as an average tiger and same with a cougar and a man, and the analogy is made even more perfect by the relative genetic relations among the 4. Go look up those animals and pay particular attention to their weight ranges. 250 pounds would be ENORMOUS for a male cougar and tiny for a tigress. The fact of the matter is that lions and tigers eat 8-10 pounds of meat a day to stay healthy, a cougar eats more like 3.

'a cougar is basically a lion living in a different part of the world with no mane...
i see u've never heard of the term "mountain lion?"'
Sure. In as much as a human is "basically" a gorilla with less fur not living exclusively in jungle.
Now which do you think needs to eat more? The 400 pound gorilla or the 150 pound human? Which do you think needs to eat more? The 400 pound lion or the 150 pound cougar/puma/panther/mountain lion/catamount/mountain screamer/etc.
IDIOT. MORON. BUFFOON. TWIT.

They got their facts wrong. Not 3000 pounds of meat a year. More like 1000. Lions and tigers consume 3000 a year.
