Christ!...You 'crotch rocket' jockeys just leave us alone! Your bikes are generally used for just as much 'posing', as the average HD is! I've surprised many a 'sports' bike rider on my HD 1200 Roadster. It's all a bunch of crap! We're all 2-wheeler riders together...for the love of God, please just stop calling one another!! It's the zombies in cars at junctions, that's our worst enemy!

These pipes are not loud. They are street legal, but louder than stock. And if you don't master the bike you're "riding," you are an accident waiting to happen.

Why would I wanna "master" a motorcycle. I ride one... No need to "master" it. Sure there is a learning curve of control locations... That's it. Master? No thanks. If it's a difficult bike to ride how roadworthy is it? Can you do a 750 to 1000 mile day on one? I came to this thread originally to hear Ztechs. They do nothing for me except make noise. If you think loud pipes will save your ass you'd better start taking the bus to work. Loud Pipes Lose Rights. Go listen to some bikes pass-by.

If you think a Sportster is a "chick bike" you've clearly never spent much time in the saddle of one. Without doubt the Sportster is the most difficult Harley to "master." It's not a good bike for beginning or inexperienced riders.

Best sounding SE pipes ive heard...but i still prefer the VH pipes, and maybe even Rineharts over the SE. They do sound good though

I was just reminding myself how much they annoy. "Loud Pipes Save Lives" is a slogan. Just like buying the world a coke is. You aren't going to buy the world a coke so don't expect loud pipes to save your bacon. I would never expect a favorable result based on the reaction of someone else. Besides, you don't hear pipes until after they pass... Little too late, eh. But, if all you do is ride down to the corner tavern and rev your air cooled engine have fun! Besides, a Sportster is a Chicks bike.
