Portugal made an hell of a match! France was lucky scoring that two goals near the end. It's life, i don't have doubght that measuring the quality of both teams in that year, France is better. But in that match Portugal achieved a level of great football and was the best team on the pitch.

you kidding, right? france had an unstoppable squad in '84. and the two goals portugal scored were quite lucky, i doubt the scorer would have expected the header to take that huge lob or the shot to ricochet down and launch the ball up like that

I was 1 year old, but from what i've heard and seen, this was one of the best games ever in a Euro final fase! First participation of Portugal and we reached the semi! Chalana was a f*ckin' great player! |
