one of the best anime of all time, a true classic. I watched this show back when I was a kid. I own it on dvd. You need to watch the movies too.

Regarding what Kayrod29 said, this isn't the first anime to appear in the U.S. That credit goes to 1963's "Astro Boy". Unless that user was trying to say "anime" only in reference to part of Japanese, namely anime for adults (this is case of some otakus). Nevertheless, anime is still the official English-speaking term for Japanese animation in general. |
