Howe - you and the guys are the pioneers - the last of the really great cowboys. fuck the Eagles - with their lux pay checks for mediocre music, and ugly covers on the Rolling Stone, with a half ass band. YOU are a beautiful and talented man. You and your kind, define what we, who love this "genre" , and the dusty, lovely, melodic sound you gave us, still search the web for - in hopes that one day you will grace us with coming to our towns.

This is a great video, I'm glad I stumbled across it. The song and the players rock, I dug Giant Sand when John & Joe where apart of it. Alas we all move on and Calexico had their own album(s) to do. Howe has done fine without them and that's a good thing. I recently got broad band, it's awesome to view all the Howe and giant sand videos, Howe keeps my world a rockin'. It's nice to find some folks who feel the same. Thank you litterbox music for all the great posts.

What Cezzium said. Shiver is one of the great overlooked songs in the history of songdom. I bow in Howe's general direction and look forward to his return to Chicago, whenever that may be.
