Hello/Salam/Peace Everyone! Thanks for the feature youtube! Thanks for the support everyone. Lets keep the discussions and dialogues going! Thats the whole point. But PLEASE keep it respectful. Oh and YES, this video WAS inspired by the I Am Canadian Ad. We liked that idea and decided to use the same style. NO its not plagiarism, in-fact, its more of a compliment and a homage to the creators of that video. (Not the beer, just the ad style)! ENJOY and pass on to your friends. MORE TO COME, SO STAY TUNED! Thanks again and PEACE! Muradaldin The New Jersey Chapter of MAS (Muslim American Society) put together this message dispelling some of the stereotypes of Muslims, calling for peace and unity and encourages Muslims to be proud of their faith. This informative and very entertaining message is brought to you by the Muslim American Societies Media Foundation. www.masmediafoundation.org

And just one more thing, in today's world it's almost impossible NOT to befriend people of other religions. I'm sure Allah would excuse those who pray for forgiveness. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. - Matthew 22:39 Whether Muslim or not.

WOW It seems you are lying again TRB. Or are you a greater translater than your Muslim scholars? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH! Your just an apologist who cannot and will not accept the truth. You prefer to live a lie and deception! I feel bad for you! I truly do!

SHAKIR: O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people. And porter, either you know nothing of Islam, or you are a Muslim pretending to be Christian in order to deceive. which happens all the time!

In the verse you quoted, the word "Awliya" is used. It is a plural and its singular is "wali". The correct translation of the word ""wali"" is not "friend" but it is someone who is very close and intimate. It is also used to mean "guardian, protector, patron, lord and master".

005.051 YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust. PICKTHAL: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.

Prove it. i am using Islamic official translations from Muslims! Let's look and see . I will present three different translations. And tell me which one is lying! OK? HAHAHHA!

My interpretation is that "disbeliever" would only qualify Muslim bashers such as yourself. I myself am Christian, but we share a common god. Most religions, even Islam, have a golden rule which is almost always the same, "Treat others how you would like to be treated." I believe that the reason so many Muslims are terrorists is that the area al-Qaeda is centered in is heavily populated with Muslims. Therefore, the people who turn to terrorism are more likely to be Muslim than anywhere else.

[O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah as witnesses to fair dealings and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just, that is next to piety. Fear Allah, indeed Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do.] (Al-Madah 5 :8)

Hey old man dickknowsnothing copying pasting from the bankers ? hehehe The correct translation of the verse in Surat Al-Maidah is: [O you who believe! Do not take Jews and Christians as your patrons. They are patrons of their own people. He among you who will turn to them for patronage is one of them. Verily Allah guides not a people unjust.] (Al-Ma'dah 5: 51)
