i used to live in tokyo 3 years ago when i was 17 years old and truly fell in love with the japanese style. yes there are lot who to be totally honest, dress like prostitutes (particularly in shibuya) but there are a lot who dress beautifully as well. they take a very natural, organic and feminine direction in their choice of pieces and use a lot of layers and combine a lof patterns. the japanese male sense of style is also equisite, a lot of it very androgynous, but very chic.

While I understand your sentiments, you two guys don't get it. And are perhaps blind as well. That IS their style. Sorry they won't be donning kimonos for you, lol. Almost no American women walk around with LV shoes and bags. That's been a Japanese thing for decades. And lolita fashion is something the Japanese came up with and is not done here. Neither is gothic lolita, which is quite shocking and totally Japanese. I love USA, but give these sexy girls credit for their innovations.
