I'd say that all those things are in there, but I think punk is, too. Fell In Love With A Girl is evidence of this. I know that that song is a staple of garage rock revival, but so is Hate To Say I Told You So (The Hives), Outtathaway (The Vines), and Last Nite (The Strokes). I bring those songs up because Garage Rock isn't a musical style so much as a production or contextual style. Garage rock is a combination and a variation of multiple musical genres (including punk).

Locas Billiards (aka Locas on Salter - near the corner of Spring Garden and Barrington St. in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada) has put up a permanent WHITE STRIPES EXHIBIT which includes 43 framed...articles, Jack's used quitar pick, photos, T-shirt etc...which surrounds the entire place at eye level. This Place ROCKS!!!!

Kas Roussy of CBC, I find it ironic that you are so sensitive to a Beijing booklet; among a pile of insensitive Western-insults to the Chinese Olympic. I say racism is your reason to single out this Olympic to attack. Western segregationists like Soussy are painful reminders of our racially and culturally divided world. There have been race riots in the UK and France. I never hear such harsh criticism to them by CBC. I think Canada has a long way to go when it comes to respecting human rights.
