Don't be language chauvinist! Tamil is much older than sanskrit.therefore the pronouncations in tamil are different. Vasant becomes basant in hindi. chopra is called as chopda. Each language has its own flavour dear ! enjoy it.
Please do not misunderstand.

Those are the correct alternatives in Tamil. If they are pronounced as you said, it would be ok but not be Tamil exactly.

The singer in Tamil has sung it incorrectly, though in Telugu the sanger did sing it correct.
It's not :
namachivaaya
it is namah sivaaya
and it's not saturvedaman , it is Chatur Vedam.
