Im 50 straight female mother of 2 adult sons. My youngest son is gay. Don't get me wrong, Im not chanting "yeah yeah yeah, my son is gay," but I love him more than I regret his lifestyle. He is a wonderful man I would hate to think that my narrowmind has left me without him. I know he can contract AIDS easily, but no more than a single straight person.Freddie Mercury had his life and it should have been his. If alive today, he would quote Billy Joel "Go ahead with your own life, leave me alone."

Freddie was a very creative, intelligent man. And though born in Zanzibar, he was Persian.

Freddie was a brilliant performer live and he lapped up the adulation of his audience. There have been few who had such a vocal range and could entertain like he did.
