I worked on a crabber in The Bering sea,we were out of dutch harbor and I heard alot of rescues on the radio,it was nice to know you guys were out there and ready! Thanks

The #7 "Oregon Beach Inlet" was actually just off the north jetty of Newport, Oregon. Two men in an aluminum skiff capsized in the surf, and weren't wearing lifejackets. A tourist just happened to be out on the jetty with his video camera, and took that amazing footage of the two men being rescued. I was there on the jetty, as part of the CG crew...the helicopter dropped the man that they picked up off with us, and we delivered him to an ambulance. Everyone in the crew did a great job!
