I agree with everything you said. One of the most refreshing things about reading Greek history is that you rarely come across atrocities committed by Greeks. That is so different from reading about the Romans.

Acropolis was destroyed by the Italians during a siege back at 1600s . Germans didn't touch the Acropolis . They respect past more than the British. |
