There is search facility on the home page of that site, bottom left. Where are you?
It is worth taking the time to plan/save for the best procedure available. Don't take chances with mercury - good luck.

I went there. But, do they have a directory of accredited dentists who remove them properly?

Check out the IAOMT website. Get informed BEFORE doing anything.
Please make sure you find someone who knows what they are doing; full safety protocol will include separate air supply over your nose, for example (to avoid breathing the mercury vapour during drilling).

I can't even f'n believe anyone could even consider putting this in someone's teeth to begin with.
Now I just need to find a good mercury removal dentist. Anyone know how to find a local one?

What would this 'environmental damage' be exactly?
Perhaps the fact that mercury find its way up the food chain because it BIOACCUMULATES in living bodies and ultimately, human brains.
Amalgam mercury doesn't take the scenic route - it is implanted directly in us. Think about it.

Quite a good video. Amalgam is obviously a bad choice for a dental restorative material although I think this video would be much better if they were more objective - watching it gives one the impression that something simply AWFUL will happen 2 u if you have an amalgam filling!! I believe one of the main reasons why Sweden has phased out amalgam is due to the environmental damage it causes when humans are cremated - and not, as this vid would imply, due to the harmful effects on human health.

F**KING SCANDAL.
Now I have to pay through the nose to get my mercury fillings out porcelain onlays put it. WHY THE HELL IS IT NOT BANNED! My mum died of cancer after both kidneys went her CNS was destroyed from within. They couldn't figure out why? Now I'm certain it was because of her dental work - but we will never know.
Petitions shouldbe signed to ban this poison immediately. I feel outraged that only now do I come to understand that at least 50% of my fillings are made of Mercury!

Yeah. I have heard enough from people to where I don't want amalgam fillings at all. The dentist I worked for had amalgam fillings but then he also had a missing front tooth so he's not exactly the best example.

Mercury vapour isn't visible in normal light. It is an insidious, relentless poison that once in your body/brain, likes to remain there.
'Sensitive' can often be used dismissively when it comes to describing patient issues, but those whose SENSES still (mal)function are actually fortunate that their bodies clearly demonstrate legitimate (albeit confusing) reactions to this neurotoxin.
Prevention is FAR better than cure when it comes to mind-numbing, nerve-killing mercury.

And then you have to add the fact that some people are naturally more sensitive to metals and toxins. I know someone who had to have chelation therapy to remove toxins including mercury lead cadmium etc. While removing amalgam I never noticed any vapors. If there were any they weren't visible. |
