i did but i forgot to mention it i have wpa-psk and mac filter and on top of that i check my network every week just to see how its going and whos conntected

uMM some one connecting to your network when its broadcasted freely is not hacking. MAC address filtering can be broken in a few minutes it is not hard to do. I would suggest turning on WPA or WPA 2 ontop of it.

So... you're telling me that MAC address filtering is a good way to secure your router... what stops someone using a MAC address spoofer? Not very much.

Security slows down your internet connection. Use MAC Address filtering and disable your SSID and no one can connect to your router unless you input there MAC Address. |
