I concur that Bolivians are materially poor, but rich in spirit as in my previous comment of some months ago. Unfortunately the country is in considerable political difficulty right now with several departments(states) threatening to secede. The country has become very polarized. Shades of the american civil war of the 1860's wherein the landed gentry of the south attempted to preserve their antebellum lifestyle.
