yeah Kossof is a superbe player...but the list is impressive... Alex lifeson for exemple has is own prog/heavy rock sound Blackmore naturally kills everybody (and without "smoke on the water" that i strangely dislike) Joe Perry of Aerosmith... plays as a giant way before in the mid 70s even sombody less known Ronnie Montrose made great things in the 70s even Glenn Tipton (of Judas Priest) was and is impressive live... well the list can continue ...i count on you

o estava loco ? ... Michael shenker don't play as good & dangerously since the mid 80s.... but he has some excuses nearly all heavy rockers of the 70s lose their dangerous sound/riff into the mid 80s...after 83 it was over... hard rock became more radio/pop fm oriented... def leppard was a pop machine... Dio was already over and cliché since his 2nd lp...etc

The riff is easy, it's just another variation on every other UFO riff. But the solo ...! Schenker is in the same class as Santana, Kossoff, Hendrix & Van Halen for one reason. One second in you know it's him, not just some other 1,000 notes a second robot
