I think Seinfeld over reacted a bit here. Kings job is to inform viewers of the situation. He asked Seinfeld, Seinfeld got all egotistical about it. Wheres the harm in answering a question that the general public may want to know about?

Whatever the ins and outs of this may be (of which I am entirely ignorant), this was certainly not an elegant riposte. What harm would it have done to have politely pointed out the error?

Yeah, I agree...alot of us tend to overact, but Larry is funny b/c alot of the times he doesn't pay attention to his cue cards, sitting on his desk.. in front of him..oh Ashton Kutcher is the name btw...Well, anyway unlike your grandmother, he's in the interviewing business, so he needs to at least be on top of his subjects..although I do expect bloopers, just apart of the biz but sometimes it's like, come on Larry...

Larry King's job is to interview his guests. I wouldn't rate it among the world's most difficult trades. The only thing he really has to do is have some sort of a clue about his guest. How do you think Michael Jordan would have reacted to someone asking him if he was cut from the Bulls after he retired?

Hey Jerry, you ego-centric douche, why would you quit if you are that successful? Dumbass. That's what I would have thrown back at him if I were Larry.

Larry King has been at this long enough not to make such a demented mistake, there's no excuse, it's time to retire.
Chibikanin (August 21, 2008 at 11:13 am)
What a douche.

Who the hell is Ashton C? He's an old man I don't expect my Grandma to know who the latest stars of the best sitcoms or the news surronding it. You could argue it's suppose to be his responsiblity but then Larry King isn't hosting Entertainment Now, and there happens to be a lot of TV shows out there. It was funny so no harm no foul... I'm just saying aren't some of us slightly overreacting over Larry King being uninformed over the ending of a TV show... it's just a TV show.

Usually guests allow themselves to be intimidated by the great & powerful Oz, this time, Jerry Seinfeld stood up to that man behind the microphone.

Yeah, in some respect you do wanna cut him some slack but Larry does this all the time. He called Ashton C., Austin just the other day. Ashton looked like..what??...lol... Still love him tho. lol
