Depends on the heckle, I suppose. But not that much. Don't know if anyone has seen the one where that guy makes a fool of Jo Brand. Not that she really needs any help. To come out on top with things like this you should say as little as possible at the beginning and just use the 'hecklers's' words against them. Jimmy Carr is good, but when it comes to comebacks, Paul Merton and David Mitchell are by far the best.

The thing is... Jimmy Carr's mum IS actually dead. Maybe if the heckler had known that, the silly bastard could've come up with something a little better to say (it's doubtful, though).

pwned, i think some people heckle just to see what the comedian would say. I think its sorta funny when they heckle. Because they pay.. o so dearly for it. I mean they get made fun of sooo bad in front of a crowd. I love it, its awesome

I agree, I could not imagine how it feels to be heckled in the middle of a show, and having to think of something to say on the spot, but then again I'm not a stand up comedian or musician. When someone heckles it can ruin the show for EVERYONE. I've always been a fan of comedy and stand-up, but I just started discovering videos like this and Its another obstacle for performers and another reason they deserve more credit.
