Lindsey Williams, who has been an ordained Baptist minister for 28 years, went to Alaska in 1971 as a missionary. The Transalaska oil pipeline began its construction phase in 1974, and because of Mr. Williams' love for his country and concern for the spiritual welfare of the "pipeliners," he volunteered to serve as Chaplain on the pipeline, with the subsequent full support of the Alyeska Pipeline Company. Because of the executive status accorded to him as Chaplain, he was given access to information documented in his eye opening book, The Energy Non-Crisis. After numerous public speaking engagements in the western states, certain government officials and concerned individuals urged Mr. Williams to put into print what he saw and heard, stating that they felt this information was vital to national security. Mr. Williams firmly believes that whoever controls energy controls the economy. Thus, The Energy Non-Crisis. http://www.lwoil.com

I believe everything my government tells me. This man lies. You better listen to the Bush administration if I were you. OBEY! OBEY!

Complete nonsence and lies. My Uncle (retired now) was in senior management with Conoco Phillips and when I faxed him a copy of a magasine article 10 years ago about peak oil, he confirmed everything in the article carried great merrit. He was clear "the world isn't running out of oil, but it is running out of CHEAP oil, and DEMAND IS EXPECTED TO OUTSTRIP SUPPLY due to growth from China and other emerging markets" The cheap ride is over. We need to change our ways.

What a crock - this antediluvian whacko still represents a point of view that doesn't SOLVE problems in the long run - OIL IS STILL A FINITE RESOURCE - we need to turn away from FINITE, and move on to REUSABLE. So what if MORE oil is found, as the pop. of earth grows exponentially, so will its consumption, this man obviously has TODAYS profits in mind, and says 'To Hell' with our children and grandchildren's future. Pay $1 today for gas, and $100,000,000,000.00 tomorrow...

Ah nevermind. Conservative dinosaur. I want proof of these oil reserves.
Charles2337 (July 24, 2008 at 5:22 am)
Wow thats a relief how we are not running out of oil. But we cannot continue to burn fossil fuels. It will eventually run out and destroy our planet and us as well. While we are using the newly discovered oil, we should invest in alternative energies.

I'm so hurt by this deception of my government. I'd have given my life for this corrupt nation. We are suffering, we are hurting all over from the rich to the poor. And nobody cares about us, those who should protect us in congress, there is so much we don't know. There needs to be revisements to our current situation and grass roots will be the process!

I would love it if someone found the archived interview on the web somewhere and posted this interview. I think it was on GCNLive radio.

no, i didn't hear it but i'll believe anything he says. he's been 100% right so far and i have no reason to distrust him. the problem is that we won't see any relief any time soon.

this man went to Alaska to be a public servent for christianity. he soon found out the corrupt ways of the oil world and has tried for 30 years to make the american public see what goes on. the same thing happened to Ron Paul. everyone made him look crazy. if everyone would just do their homework and research what he's saying you'd be surprised at how "on target" he really is. america needs to wake up before it's too late. you'll be remembering this man's name when you're paying $7 per gln.
