Music isn't (usually) supposed to tell a story. We have literature for that. We don't need a story to enjoy music - the notes speak for themselves

i disagree. this is an elegie... a sad story
music is supposed to tell a story
in the beginning, the person is angry, but as he mulls over it, the anger festers (becomes greater)
therefore, the ending should be more intense
than the beginning.
at the way end, the piece should be, in a sense, softer because of the dynamic level but also b/c (the way I think of it) the person the piece is talking about is in resignation of his/her fate
i agree that this piece is awesome and 3 the way he plays it

This song gives me goosebumps! i love it so very much! I can imagine Edward playing the piano, Rosalie playing the cello, and Bella singing magical, beautiful words to a star-struck audience of thousands.

i dont like how little bow he uses on the triplet semiquavers. it wasn't big enough.
otherwise enjoyable.

I wish I played the cello, I love those low tones, and Julian Lloyd Webber brings beautiful sounds and the passion out of it. |
