Good to know: Before the interview, Sigur Ros had about an hours chat with the interviewer. He seemed to be at level, asking them relevant stuff, being truly interested. Then, when live and on air he started asking these terrible, stupid questions. They were stunned at his behaviour, and probably got pretty pissed off.

I mean if Sigur Rós get question which can be answered yes or no, they will answer yes or no. Especially Jónsi is cute - he even doesn't need any yes or no, he just shakes his head. Perfect! Sigur Rós, STAY AS YOU ARE! I love you like that.

i covered my face throughout the whole thing... it was so embarassing.... i cant believe this show actually had the nerve to blame the band for this situation... that interviewer was so stupid and blunt, and asked yes or no questions, which you learn not to do at lastest in 5th grade... so for fucks sake... but this was really entertaining which was prolly the point to begin with...

the way the ass-hat interviewer keeps drilling him on what exactly "hopelandic" is was getting on my nerves
some things just need to be left unexplained. it's beautiful music, he doesn't deserve and explanation

i love sigur ros but this interview is just painful to watch. as much as they may have been sick of hearing the same questions, i do honestly think they could have made more of an effort. as monotonous as it might be for them, there's no excuse for being plain rude like that. what a shame.

horrible interview. not so much sigur ros, but they were asked a lot of lame questions. how about asking open ended questions? i like NPR too, but this was terrible.
