Just read on the BBC Breakdown 2000 video here on youtube that the music cant be Against the Clock by Murray Munro! It must be another. I shall write to a guy that might know who worked for BBC Vt and see if he knows what they used!

The power cut music or breakdown music is called "Around The Clock" by Murray Munro and was indeed used when they had a breakdown.

I have read that it was viewer demand.Thats strange because theres plenty of viewer demand for the bbc1 balloon to be revived but it hasnt but they pick up on viewer demand for that,very strange

It was revived for some unknown reason in 2006. I guess our provider has chosen that one for some reason.

It's very hard for me to choose which is better: this or AshSowerby's one with the same music. This one has more idents & covers more time, but doesn't have an intro, which saves a bit of time.
