i have a schecter and an epi with EMGS in them. for the Schecter, it has the 89 and the 81tw. if you could get those i highly recommend it but if not go with the 85 over the 60. i got the 81 and 85 in my epi and its great too, just the coil tapping is so useful on the 89 and 81tw i like it way more.

Hey man, do you find the EMG 85 gives the guitar a fatter sound considering it's a medium-bright body wood?
I'm looking at a new EMG set for my SL2H and either gonna get the 81/60 or 81/85.
