Maybe. I still have concerns. Hes such a huge hit as the Batman that it might overshadow any performance given.

Hes the perfect John Connor
justice4all15 (September 2, 2008 at 11:51 pm)
But in the future Conner sends the terminator to defend himself so it can be a prequal too...

Might be a mistake casting Bale as connor.Sure hes a great actor but will people see John Connor,or will they see Bruce wayne in the film?

No, according to Bale, this movie is a sequel mostly to terminator 1 and 2.

Well they said this movie is supposed to stand alone as it's own film or something, but it's also a prequel to T1 and sequel to T3. So I'm guessing this is an alternate future. Like the tv series. So this isn't really T4. It's really confusing.
HolyChuckNorris (August 23, 2008 at 9:40 am)
No he's not in the movie. They got a look alike to play the role of the Termintor from the first movie and John Connor doesn't know at the time whether he's a good guy or a bad guy. So this movie is basically a prequel to the first Terminator film.

oh well. Somewhat looking forward to this. Love the terminator franchise ^_^ (except for the third one :\)

I've heard rumors that Arnold may be in the movie. I don't know if it's true, just throwing that possibility out there. If not, I think the Terminator class model that he played (forget the number. T1000?) will most likely be in it. Maybe not as an enemy, but as a "new" project of the machines.
I don't know how I feel about Bale playing Conner. Admittedly, it felt a little cheap to see a movie that he is in advertised by another movie he's in (dark knight playing this preview) |
