Gandrayda was annoying. I personally think she was the only one of the three hunters that was evil to begin with. She JUST happens to be in the generator room with a bunch of pirates before Ridley shows up. She probably killed the Pirates to keep her cover, then let "Sammy" repair the generator so she could avoid getting caught between Ridley and Samus.

actually, dark samus is metroid prime, with samus' DNA taken from the suit it stole in metroid prime, the game. metroid prime is an "it" mixed with samus' (a female) DNA, becomes dark samus, a female.
