Once people on earth finally fuck up the environment beyond all recognition, there is no way that some space mining colony or some sun-hydrogen-energy extractor is going to allow people to survive in space colonies.

Kid, there is so much more than water that we need to survive. Extracting hydrogen an oxygen from moon dust may be an ACTUAL PROCESS, but that doesn't make it PRACTICAL. In all likelihood, it uses FAR more resources than it produces.

The video is called "Colonizing The Moon". At the end one guy shows how to get water out of moon dust. But I've only seen this video so there is nothing more I can tell you about that. It's amazing nevertheless.
