i like it because even though the lyrics are carefree even cheerful, there is a constant underlying melancholy in the melody. This makes it so unique for me.

read the lyirics as "you" was heroin (just like they do on trainspotting in my opinion) and it makes total sense man. dno if reed wrote this cos of a girl or cos of drugs though!

this song has 2 sides to it i love it coz its like soo lovely but i also hate it coz my girlfreind broke up wif me at the same time as this song playing so it sorta proves its the best
