This true, but for a while there he came back stronger than ever (for the 2005 Pride GP). Nowadays he seems to have lost his motivation and doesn't want to train and diet down to 155. Hopefully losing to Baron (a guy he could have easily beaten) will get him motivated to train for Nick Diaz.
