when did i say green day should jump off a cliff? don't put words in my mouth man. and don't expect me to have accomplished what green day has. they're in their 30's and have been playing music together for almost two decades. i on the other hand am only 16. and in a band and playing shows around my neighborhood. so here's my bottom line- we can't save darfur.

I am not even the biggest GD fan but "they need to make something?" ah yeah they have been a band for 17 years have made 7 platinum albums and gone on countless world tours...What have you done lately? Maybe its not GD that needs to jump off a cliff.

Very aware but criticizing someone or some band for trying to do some good is a joke. You certainly can have your opinions about it but why publicly criticize? I agree there is allot of other countries with problems but why criticize a CD trying to raise its own money for a cause, you don't agree with it don't buy it..Thats that. So you think there are countries that are as bad as Darfur.Hmm.. Maybe, but over a half a million people already killed, I haven't heard of any that bad.

alright. you don't agree with me either. you feel it's of the utmost importance that we spend millions of dollars to feed a few hundred people only for them to starve again the next day and/or be shot. and green day's gonna help do just that. i guess you're not aware that there are hundreds of countries out there and millions more who could come here and plead their problems of situations just as bad as the ones in darfur. is this 1 country gonna save all these other countries all over the world

Yeah is not starvation/hunger in Darfur its genocide, and last I checked there wasn't "Death Squads" rolling through any American city that kill all the men and children and then rape then kill all the women only to burn the town to the ground before they leave. Why fight with people that want to help another country. Yes the US has a major problems and one of them is apathetic and selfish citizens, you seem to be one of them.

if you want ppl to help here you need to go throw the goverment there is way around it. the goverment makes all the decisions in this country. we should bt we cant thats y more ppl want to help others cuz they cant help here. bt i see wat ur trying to do i'm not trying to tell u that ur wrong.

I disagree with you strong that our government is trying to help our own people. (Americans, that is.) And if you genuinely feel that way, you are naive, but that'll change with time. You don't have to wait to do something for people right now though. Get some friends, organize a food drive. Join a Run or Walk that raises money. Hell, sell Krispy Kreme donuts to raise money. Donate to Goodwill.There are plenty of things you can do now. And it will make you a better punk ;).
