There is nothing black metal about this at all... sorry. Maybe if you consider Cradle of Filth black metal... but then those same people consider Slayer death metal. Either way... this band isn't bad. I would consider it Gothic metal, easily. "Vampire metal"... i suppose. In the same sense Amon Amarth is Viking metal, if you go by themes, then i would say that flies well... there's a good deal of dark wave and industrial influence, as well as a great deal of symphonic quality.

They were vampiric metal. now, without Lord Wampyr they`re gothic metal band. I mean The Pleasure and Pain and Anima Noir albumes.

en parte no es asi del todo, lo del vampyric metal no existe como genero hablando tecnicamente, es una forma de denominar el estilo original de Theatres des Vampires, pero los primeros discos son black metal sinfonico, despues se pasaron a un estilo mas cercano al gotico
