this is by far the most beautiful composition i have EVER heard. no word can adequately describe the feeling conveyed by this game

Looking back at this, it is the greatest piece ever written. Never again will such love be communicated. It's such bitter love, truly the death of one's self and an entire devotion to giving one's own enmotional history is the requirement to write something like this.

And all these years I thought Oistrakh was just an artistic show-off to few educated academics..and then i heard this, and my heart stopped........

simply debussy's greatest piece. Now if only we could hear debussy play it...

Ya, but if someone like me is not well-versed in a subject, it gives a concise, if not always accurate, synopsis. Some of it is right on. I love Wikipedia. I love this performance too. Thanks for the proper name of the accompanist.
