I am a well of republican and I support an increase in the minimum wages. I don't understand why most of my friends are against that. The poor in this country are suffereing while we give the blood sucking jews billions of dollars in aid.

Capitalism also is like a double edged sword. Can be good and bad at the same time. Without capitalism we wouldn't be the nation we are today. I honestly wish on my 1040 I could chose where my tax money goes, now that would be something.

Hmm...Raising minimum wage would cause more inflation than what we see now in the U.S. Companies would have to raise prices due to workers comp/medical insurance/overhead. Not to mention the cause and effect of raising minimum wage leading to the outsourcing of jobs out of U.S. I guess he doesn't think about that kind of stuff, as well as Kennedy would like to raise min wage, then turn around and vote for tax increases. Trade agreements, and outsourcing is what needs to be adjusted.

yeah it isn't like the disparity between upper level ownership income and line worker salary hasn't increased at an exponential rate. that CEOs of FAILED companies get millions in golden parachutes in record amounts while the minimum you can legally pay someone as stayed the same for years. get a clue. just the CEO of most huge companies could take $100mil cut in salary and afford to cover most of the 2$ raises. where are the corporate tax breaks going? not to the workers. get a clue

Raise the min wage to $10. Anything less is an absolute joke. just a meaningless gesture. The financial elite often complain of the cost of entitlements, yet they themselves somehow feel ENTITLED to slave labor. Interesting. Kennedy clearly is correct on this one.

if you get rid of the minimum wage you will have companies pay 2 dollars an hr to people who earned 15 at one time you wil lhave pay rates go up and down every hr you wil lNEVER have a steady check

How about a 0 minimum wage? How many workers would your corporation employ at that rate? After all, corporations are much more important than people. People are just a drag on the expense side of the I/E sheet. Slavery is where it's at. Admit it!
