One could argue that without their brilliant defence they wouldnt have even been in the game when those buzzer beaters had to be hit.

Scottie Pippin THe ONe!!!! Greatest player of all time!!!!
James8107 (August 10, 2008 at 4:10 pm)
Scottie will never get enough credit for his amazing ability and leadership next to Michael Jordan which is a shame. Most people when they think Chicago Bulls greats think Jordan 1st obviously but Scottie's game was super smooth as well. If Scottie played in this day and age in his prime he'd be the premier player in my eyes in the entire NBA.

smoke 117 your an idiot who scored all the buzzer beaters to win championships

if you guys remember the final championship run, up until the finals, it was ALL pippen through the playoffs. He was insane. A legend in his own right. Man I miss that era.

I never said he wasn't. I was just comparing how similar his game was offensively to Ervings.

scottie pippen is the second best player in history next to mj, he held him back
Reborn0723 (July 29, 2008 at 9:16 pm)
Bottom line...there is no Jordan as being the "G.O.A.T." with Pippen another 1 of the 50 greatest players in history!

Pippen and Jordan were called the Doberman's and Horace Grant was a very, very good defender for them. Rodman was also a great defender, but I think it's really Grant who gets the short end of the stick. Pippen is definitely underrated, but it's Grant who is the most underrated. Jordan produced a huge shadow that everyone had to be encompassed by. It was the Bulls defense that won 6 championships though and Jordan was always the 3rd best there behind pippen/grant or pippen/rodman. |
