There was a skill that you can learn from the boss goblin. I don't remember the name of the move, but when Rei goes into Weretiger mode, you can have one characters perform that move from the boss goblin. So this way, Rei will not attack any of his party members.

I use Garr Rei and Ryu. Just use focus on Rei and let him go wild as a weretiger. I use Garr to heal and fight. Ryu uses Bonebreak and Shadowalk. And they should all be wearing rings of fire and ice.
