I wasn't looking for a very elaborate makeup concept for my costume...so this video was actually very helpful to me.

well there are the expensive ones and the cheap ones. I haven't used any on my eyes yet. I've known actors who've used the cheap ones and they worked fine. But most makeup guys I know insist on getting the expensive ones...because when it comes to your eyes, you don't wanna run the risk of damaging them. better safe than sorry because you only get two eyes. once you lose them or damage them, that's it. rule of thumb: be extra careful with what goes in or around your eyes!

What's the deal with costume contacts? Are they dangerous or something? Just want a second opionion

What I demonstrated here were some basic techniques. You can apply them however you want. But I wanted to go back to the basics for the sake of this video. You CAN check out my other videos for more elaborate makeups!
