so from earth, a star 100 light years away. (looking at the star 100 years in the past) Theoretically if your travelling fast enough and look at the same star from earth. you could be looking at the star at perhaps 50 years in the past. because remember your seeing the light travel at (your speed + light speed) if u understand this, i have great respect for you! for people who understand this, & accept that the theory is true, read my theory carefully.. speed of light travels at 300,000KM a second! & so if ur travelling at half speed of light (150,000KM per second) ur still seeing the light travel at the full 300,000KM a second infront of you. this means you are seeing the light travel at 450,000KM a second. Think about it.... because the light is actually travelling (speed of light + your speed)
